One of the goals of outfitting the studio was to enable us to have a creative space to create and produce our own audio and video content that could be distributed as podcasts, as well as to give others the opportunity to produce their own creations for a reasonable cost. 

Oftentimes rental fees far exceed the budget of the person just starting out, or the group that wants to experiment in audio or video creation. 

By being an independent studio owned by fellow enthusiasts, we can lower the price of production and make it affordable for just about anyone.

"Podcasting" has become the term that describes the practice of listing the location of your audio and video files with a directory such as iTunes, Podcast Alley, etc., which lets viewers/listeners point their player application at the directory and have it automatically download new content on a nightly basis.

This simple method of distribution allows the average person to distribute audio and video content to a worldwide market for a ridiculously low price, starting out around $5.00 per month.
